Myia Thomas

Myia is seeking approval by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board as a Counselor Trainee. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and has myiaover 10 years’ experience working with youth and their families. She is a member of the American Counseling Association and the Ohio Counseling Association. Myia is completing her internship requirements for her Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling with the University of Grand Canyon. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, families, and counseling students to success. She has mentored teens into their college decisions; and helps them build the bridge from their adolescent years to their early adulthood. Her focus areas are peer problems, self-esteem, bullying, anxiety, conduct problems, and children dealing with divorce.
